Company Profile

OH! Open House is an independent arts organisation that tells alternative stories of Singapore through art. Since 2009, we have provided more than 70,000 people with the unique experience of appreciating art and heritage outside of museums and galleries – from strangers’ homes to underutilised public spaces. We work with artists to present art in unconventional locations, or in surprising new ways. Through our diverse programmes, OH! creates opportunities to understand and connect with the everyday on a more meaningful level.

Job Description

At OH!, we believe every place has stories worth telling.

For the past 17 years, we've invited people to step into forgotten buildings, walk unfamiliar streets, meet unexpected neighbours, and experience Singapore through art. Through our projects, we uncover overlooked stories and invite people to see Singapore in new ways.

We're looking for a Community & Arts Management Intern to support the planning and delivery of programmes for our volunteers, partners, and wider community. Working closely with the Community Development team, you'll gain hands-on experience in arts programming, stakeholder engagement, and project coordination.

As part of a small team, you'll have the opportunity to follow programmes from planning to delivery, gaining first-hand experience in how arts and community initiatives are developed and executed.

If you're organised, enjoy working with people, and are excited about arts, culture, and community engagement, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Community Development team in planning and delivering volunteer, education, and community engagement programmes.

  • Liaise with team members, volunteers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth programme execution.

  • Support the cultivation and management of relationships with volunteers, patrons, partners, and community members.

  • Assist with programme administration, documentation, logistics, and coordination.

  • Support programme delivery and facilitation during events and activities.

Requirements:

  • Organised with strong attention to detail.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Comfortable engaging with people from different backgrounds.

  • Interest in the arts, culture, heritage, and community engagement.

  • Experience with arts programming, events, education, or community engagement is a plus.

  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a small team environment.

Application Instructions
Internships are full-time and come with a monthly stipend. To apply, email both your CV and cover letter to Ms Tang Hui Shi at . Incomplete applications will not be considered.
