We are a Chinese lifestyle brand in Singapore undergoing an exciting brand rejuvenation journey. As we refresh our identity and strengthen our connection with modern audiences, we are looking for a creative and driven Social Media Intern to join us in capturing and telling our story across digital platforms.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about social media, understands visual storytelling, and is confident creating content in both English and Chinese. The intern will play a key role in documenting our behind-the-scenes moments and transforming them into engaging, platform-appropriate content.

Job Description

Role Overview

The Social Media Intern will support the planning, creation, and execution of social media content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, WeChat, and RedNote (Xiaohongshu).

The primary focus of this role is:

  • Social media content storyboarding 
  • Video content capture
  • Video editing
  • Bilingual content creation in English and Chinese

The intern should be comfortable filming day-to-day brand activities, product moments, teams-in-action, events, and campaign development, then editing these into compelling short-form content that aligns with the brand’s rejuvenated image.

Key Responsibilities / Job ScopeContent Storyboarding, Creation & ProductionContent storyboarding and planningCapture photo and video content for the brand’s social media channels, with a strong focus on short-form video.Document behind-the-scenes footage of brand activities, creative processes, campaigns, teams-in-action and day-to-day moments.Edit videos into engaging content suitable for different platforms, including Reels, TikTok videos, WeChat content, and RedNote posts.Create social media content in both English and Chinese, ensuring messaging is relevant, culturally appropriate, and aligned with the brand voice.Adapt content formats, tone, and style to suit the unique requirements of each platform.Social Media Management SupportAssist in planning and scheduling content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, WeChat, and RedNote (Xiaohongshu).Support with the writing of captions, headlines, post copy, and simple scripts in English and Chinese.RequirementsProven capabilities in social media content storyboarding, content creation, digital storytelling, and video production/editing.Proficient in creating content in both English and Chinese (written and spoken preferred).Comfortable appearing on-site to capture spontaneous, behind-the-scenes content in a fast-moving environment.Familiar with editing tools such as CapCut, Canva, or similar platforms.A strong sense of visual aesthetics, storytelling, and what makes content engaging online.Able to work independently, take initiative, and respond quickly to content opportunities.Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.What You’ll GainHands-on experience working on a real brand rejuvenation project.Opportunity to build a strong portfolio in social media content creation, video production, and bilingual brand storytelling.Practical experience in a dynamic brand and marketing environment.Close mentorship at every step with senior brand practitioners.
