Job Description

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accounting Manager based in Singapore.

The Accounting Manager will oversee the full spectrum of finance and accounting functions for the Company and its subsidiaries, ensuring timely financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and effective financial operations.

Key responsibilities include managing daily banking operations, cash flow monitoring and treasury functions, reviewing and approving financial transactions /payments, and maintaining proper accounting records. The role is responsible for the preparation of monthly management accounts, financial statements, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and fixed asset management.

The Accounting Manager will also oversee budget planning, expense control, payroll processing, tax compliance (including GST, corporate tax, and annual filings), and liaise with external auditors, tax agents, banks, corporate secretaries, and relevant government authorities where required.

In addition, this position will supervise the financial operations of subsidiary companies, including intercompany transactions, reporting consolidation, and financial approval workflows, ensuring alignment with Group financial controls and operational objectives.

The role may also support general office administration and corporate administrative matters from time to time to facilitate smooth day-to-day business operations.

 

Qualifications:

  1. Minimum 2 years relating experience is preferred
  2. Proficiency in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements
  3. Strong Analytical Skills and ability to interpret data effectively
  4. Experience with Journal Entries and Fixed Assets management
  5. Comprehensive knowledge of Finance principles and practices
  6. Attention to detail and organizational skills
  7. Proficiency in accounting software and tools
  8. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  9. Professional accounting designation preferred
  10. Experience in project-based industries, particularly in technology or engineering, is an asset
  11. Fluent in English, Mandarin / Cantonese is a bonus.
