Media Executive

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Media Executive to lead the development and execution of integrated media strategies. The Media Executive will oversee planning across digital, social, broadcast, print, and out-of-home channels, ensuring campaigns deliver measurable business outcomes. This role requires analytical skills, managing client and vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Media Planning: Lead the creation of integrated media plans that align with brand and client objectives.
  • Client Partnership: Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, presenting media strategies, insights, and recommendations.
  • Budget Oversight: Manage small to mid to large-scale media budgets, ensuring efficiency and ROI across campaigns.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with creative and operations teams to deliver cohesive campaigns.
  • Agency & Vendor Management: Negotiate with media owners, publishers, and platforms to secure optimal placements and partnerships.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and implement optimizations to maximize impact.
  • Innovation & Trends: Identify emerging media opportunities and integrate them into planning strategies.
  • Reporting & Insights: Deliver comprehensive post-campaign reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
  • New Business Support: Support on new business pitches, tenders where possible and depending on scale

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • 0–3 years of experience in media planning or buying, preferably within an agency or corporate marketing environment.
  • Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.
  • Strong knowledge of digital and traditional media channels.
  • Knowledge in media planning tools and analytics platforms (e.g. Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager) but not necessary.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
