The Information Security Intern supports the IT Security officer/Manager in protecting organization systems, networks, and security threats. This role provides hands-on exposure to real-work security operations, risk management and compliance particles.
Key Role Responsibilities
- Assist in reviewing of different systems security log (e.g., windows AD) on SIEM tools.
- Assist in identify and review with IT Security officer on suitable GDPR and PDPA awareness training deck for CIC CIB APAC staff.
- Assist in monitoring Hong Kong and Singapore DPO mailbox for Personal Data enquiry or complaint.
- Research on latest cybersecurity threat and trend
- Assist in housekeeping on System/Application list used in CIC CIB APAC with IT Department.
- Assist in retrieving Operation and Finance Department call requested due to verify bank details for new vendor.
Requirement
- Currently pursuing a degree in Information Security, Computer Science, IT or related field.
- Basic understanding:
- Cyber Security Concepts (CIA Triad, Malware, Phishing)
- Operating system
- Risk Management, Data Privacy, and BCP concept
- Familiar with tools (nice to have) :
- SIEM tools
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
