Job Brief
We are looking for an ambitious and self-driven Front-end Developer to join our team. As a Front-end Developer, you will be responsible for implementing visual elements that users see and interact within a web application, which makes your role crucial for the success of our business.
Responsibilities
Develop new user-facing features
Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support)
Produce fully functional UI applications based on UI design wireframes by writing clean code and working with UI/UX designers
Gather specific requirements and suggest solutions
Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance
Identify and implement changes that improve user experience
Work with the team to plan new features
Requirements
5+ years of professional software development experience
Multi-year project experience with one or more modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue
Deep understanding of HTML5 and CSS3, LESS/SASS/SCSS
Experience with responsive design and development
Deep understanding of web standards and cross-browser compatibility issues
Good command on CSS frameworks like Bootstrap/Foundation and templating languages like Jinja2/Mustache/Typescript
Flair for usability, color schemes, fonts and layout
Great attention to detail and desire to achieve pixel perfectness
Familiarity with design principles from Object-Oriented Programming and asynchronous REST communication
Familiarity with Git.
Excellent analytical and complex problem-solving skills
Able to prioritize and manage multiple deliverables along with a team.
Experience in guiding and mentoring junior developers for customized website development or product UI design.
Bonus points for startup experience which is a huge plus!
