The English enrichment centre was founded in 2014 with a vision to deliver exceptionally effective lessons that help to build a strong foundation in the English language and nurture writing skills in young students.

From just 12 students and 1 branch in Lorong Ah Soo, Singapore, Write Edge has since expanded to 8 physical branches and has online presence in both Singapore and Malaysia.

Job Description

We are looking for like-minded individuals to join our mission to become Singapore's leading English and Writing Specialist. Are you a driven, resourceful, committed, creative and independent individual? Join us for a fruitful and hands-on experience! 

The Training and Development team is in charge of developing a strong team of teachers and work with the key leadership team to reach our goals for the Singapore market.

In your role as the Operations Executive, you will develop and execute processes that contribute to smooth correspondence, strong data-management and excellent resource management across all branches. 

You will join a team that is highly motivated to deliver first-class educational services to our clients, and spearhead efforts to utilise fair, objective data to inform people management decisions.

Job Responsibilities 

Teacher Training & Communications 

  • Liaise with team and manage training schedule for local and regional counterparts
  • Communicate training schedule with teachers and track attendance 
  • Develop communications packages for teachers (e.g. Onboarding Package, Infographics, etc)
  • Design simple collaterals in accordance with brand marketing guidelines
  • Manage team’s communications calendar with local and regional markets 
  • Assist with on-site audit of training and professional development processes
  • Assist with scheduling and tracking of teacher assessments, appraisal, etc 

Data-tracking & Manpower Resource Management

  • Develop and set-up processes for handover tracking and management across branches
  • Liaise with other departments and oversee Teacher Allocation across all branches 
  • Oversee Senior Teacher, Senior Teaching Specialist, etc allocation across all branches
  • Measure adherence to leave policies and management of relief schedules across all branches
  • Data management for working sheets (e.g. liaising with team to maintain data-tracking systems, etc) 
  • Develop and set-up of processes to make crucial data-points accessible and accurate 

Inventory & Process Management 

  • Oversee departmental procurement / printing / admin / inventory for local and regional market
  • Develop and set-up of processes to track and manage team inventory 
  • Assist with any departmental claims, applications and budget tracking
  • Develop and set-up of processes as necessary to ensure smooth workflow 
  • Organise and liaise with regional markets to set up quality checks for processes and operations

Working Hours: 5 day work week (4 weekdays and 1 weekend)

Centres' Operating Hours:
Weekdays: 9am - 6pm
Weekend: 830am - 630pm
