Company Profile

We are a venture-backed startup building data infrastructure and AI products for a large, fragmented industry in Southeast Asia. Our customers operate across dozens of disconnected legacy systems. We build the automated pipelines, structured data layers, and AI products that turn that chaos into decisions. Our investors include a top regional accelerator, and our founding team brings 20+ years of experience shipping products across Southeast Asia at scale.

Job Description

The Role

This is not a support role. You will design, build, and own production systems from your first week.

One core part of this role is building automated pipelines that connect to authenticated third-party platforms, handling login flows, multi-factor authentication, session lifecycle, and structured data delivery into our backend. These are browser-based business applications, not public websites. The work requires someone who understands how web applications work under the hood and can keep pipelines running reliably when upstream systems change without warning.

Beyond this, depending on your strengths and what the company needs, you may also work on API integrations, data transformation pipelines, LLM-powered automation, or backend services. We are a small team. The scope grows with you.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain automated pipelines that authenticate against and extract structured data from third-party platforms

  • Handle complex authentication flows programmatically, including multi-factor authentication, session management, and token refresh

  • Parse, validate, and transform data from varied and inconsistent formats into clean database records

  • Build monitoring and alerting so pipeline failures surface before they reach customers

  • Integrate extracted data into downstream AI and analytics products

  • Write clean, testable Python with proper version control (Git) and documentation

  • Work directly with the founding team to scope problems, ship solutions, and iterate

What We Are Looking For

  • Currently pursuing a diploma or degree, or recently graduated, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

  • Solid Python skills. You can write code that other people can read and maintain

  • Experience with browser automation (Playwright preferred, Selenium acceptable)

  • Understands how web applications work: HTTP, cookies, sessions, DOM structure, single-page applications

  • Comfortable working in unfamiliar systems and figuring things out without a manual

  • Willing to own problems end-to-end, not wait for instructions

  • Valid work authorization in Singapore (PR, Citizen, or eligible Student/Work Holiday Pass)

Preferred

  • Cloud & Headless Systems: Hands-on experience deploying headless browser workloads (Playwright/Puppeteer) via CI/CD pipelines, Docker, or cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP).

  • Database Management: Practical SQL skills with relational databases (PostgreSQL or Supabase) for storing and querying structured data.

  • Integration Engineering: Experience integrating with REST APIs, webhooks, or backend protocols (e.g., IMAP for automated email parsing).

  • Applied AI Development: Familiarity with LLM APIs (Claude, OpenAI, Gemini) or structured prompt engineering to transform raw data into insights.

  • Domain Passion: High interest in data infrastructure, workflow automation, and building real-world AI applications.

What You Will Gain

  • Direct mentorship from a technical founder who has built and scaled products across Southeast Asia for 20 years

  • Production exposure from day one. Your code runs in systems that paying customers depend on daily

  • Experience building data infrastructure at an early-stage company where decisions compound fast

  • Exposure to the full stack: browser automation, data pipelines, PostgreSQL, AI integration, cloud deployment

  • A strong reference and possible conversion to a full-time engineering role based on performance
