Strides Digital – Software Engineering Intern

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Maintain and develop existing mobile applications
• Develop, test, and deploy web solutions for platform-related products, driving technological innovation and user-centric design.
• Forge collaborative partnerships with multidisciplinary teams, including product engineers and product managers, orchestrating release cycles and responding adeptly to emergent client needs with agility.
• Perform codebase maintenance tasks, including merge conflict resolution and refactoring to enhance application scalability and developer operations.
• Integrate robust security measures at every stage of the development process, ensuring integrity, confidentiality and availability of software systems.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience working with Cloud Native Infrastructure (Familiarity with AWS is a plus)
• Experience with manual QA testing methodologies and deployment processes.
• Possess a comprehensive understanding of web architecture fundamentals.

 Skills Needed:

• Strong proficiency in Kotlin or Java for backend development.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.).
• Experience with database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL.
• Experience with containerization tools like Docker and container orchestration using Kubernetes.
