Product Team Intern Duties and Responsibilities

The scope of work during the internship will include, but not limited to:

• Research and document personal insights on travel and hospitality apps in the market;
• Support the product team through sharing personal feedback about the Travel Platform app;
• Participate in the User Acceptance Testing process by addressing bugs that needs to be fixed;
• Any other related work that the Product and Engineering Department may require assistance on in relation to the travel platform.

Product Team Qualifications and Characteristics

• Passionate about travel / food / new experiences and using many mobile apps related to travel
• In depth experience using apps in the travel category will be highly preferred
• Ability to create and perform verbal presentations using one of the following; Google Slides, Apple Keynote, Microsoft Office Powerpoint
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Resourceful and personable character who appreciates and works well in a culture of trust and candour
• Team player with initiative, willingness to learn, appreciate mentoring/knowledge sharing among team members and building a positive team culture
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
• Outstanding communication and time management skills
• Good interpersonal & communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambitious startup
• Effective communication in English
• Prior experience in the travel industry or e-commerce and startup environment is an added bonus
