This role is suitable for those who love interacting with people (local or foreigners) and enjoy a fair mix of being on the ground as well as in office.
In this role, you would be given an exposure of the whole breadth of event organization. As many of our tours are organized for corporate clients, who visit Singapore as part of MICE events, or are organized locally as part of meeting / retreats, the coordination of tours are also similar to event organization.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate pre and post tour work which include management of tour logistics, risk management and collection of customer feedback
- Involve in procurement of goods and services by liaising with external vendors to source for food, transport etc.
- Keep a record of and manage inventory items ensure all are in stock and good condition
- Undergo in-house training to familiarise with the tour products and adhere to company’s standards of a facilitator
- Involve in direct tour operations such as being facilitator, game masters, tech and admin in both physical and virtual tours
- Represent the company and interact with the audience in a professional and presentable manner
- Assist in scheduling manpower for tours
- Give suggestions on operational performance and maintaining a high standard for tours
- Work with sales team with regards to operational matters for each tour and finance team for any payment process
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Current students studying tourism and hospitality or events is preferred
- Visually presentable and speaks in a pleasant manner
- Confident in managing a group in conducting games etc
- Able to communicate effectively
- Keen interest in tourism
