Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Expand WhyQ's business by meeting hawkers/food vendors and getting them onboard with WhyQ
- Identify and negotiate with new potential hawker/food vendor stalls to partner with
- Renegotiate agreements with existing hawker/food vendor partners to strengthen relationships
- Work with customer service representatives to manage issues faced during daily operations
- Manage ad-hoc projects and new revenue verticals that the Business Development Team is working on
- Research and recommend new target markets for expansion
Requirements:
- Self-motivated and takes initiative to solve problems
- Positive mindset, responsible and independent
- Candidates who are keen on joining a startup
- Team player with excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Ability to speak mandarin would be a bonus
- Candidates with Business Development/Sales Experience or candidates who are keen to explore a Business Development/Sales role
We are looking for motivated individuals who are available to join us for a period of at least 3 months - ideally a full-time internship during the school term from July onwards (taking Leave of Absence for AY2021/2022 Semester 1) or at least 3-4 days a week!
Working Hours: 9.30am to 6.30pm, on weekdays
