Volvo Construction Equipment Singapore (Pte.) Ltd. – Intern (Accounting)

• Support daily activities and period close process for Accounting functions
• Ensure all tasks assigned are processed in a timely, efficient and accurate manner
• Coordinate with India’s shared service to ensure the activities are completed promptly and accurately

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Support month-end closing activities for AR/AP in SAP/Netsuite
• Invoices coding and scanning to India’s shared service centre for invoice entry in SAP
• Cash and cheque deposits including timely update of incoming receipts and follow up on discrepancies
• Apply new customer and vendor ID
• Vendor SOA reconciliation and follow up
• Monthly SOA to Customer
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on their queries and resolve issues
• Any other tasks or projects that may be assigned

• Meticulous and able to meet tight timelines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Undergraduates pursuing Accountancy / Finance
