Job Description

Love watching Asian dramas or variety shows? Don’t you wish there’s a job out there that allows you to work and indulge in entertainment all at the same time? Keep reading if that is what you are looking for!

We’re looking for a marketing intern to join our team! You don’t have to have a ton of experience but you must show the drive and potential as this is a competitive position. We’ll teach you everything else! You’ll get hands-on experience with integrated marketing – marketing communications, advertising & promotions, PR, social media & digital marketing. You won’t be spending much time at the photocopier or shredding unwanted documents, we need all hands on deck!

The role:

  • Develop organic communications strategies that can retain and acquire quality users.
  • Driving traffic growth and visibility of the brand via social media and digital marketing channels while keeping in mind the active marketing KPIs.
  • Planning and executing the marketing calendar, which includes but is not limited to media drops for newly acquired dramas, holiday-based promotion and OOH advertising.
  • Analyzing traffic patterns in order to optimize advertising budget and performance, thus increasing the return on investment.
  • Work in partnership with public relations to assist in the arrangement of cast interviews.
  • Assist with the creation of promotional materials.
  • Support the team in research and the collection of data for upcoming launches.

 You should have / be:

  • Keen interest and passion for Asian entertainment and the media industry.
  • A roll-up-your-sleeve attitude. We’re a small team and every pair of hands counts. You will be busy, but it will also be worthwhile!
  • Dependable - beyond just showing up on time and meeting deadlines but having a good learning attitude and willingness to go above and beyond to deliver new perspectives and constructive inputs.
  • The ability to effectively manage multiple ongoing tasks simultaneously, perform under pressure and pay close attention to details while staying focused on the big picture.
  • Good communication skills, both written and spoken with the ability to present your ideas clearly to colleagues of all levels
  • Excellent creativity - the ability to think laterally and outside the box, together with the hunger to constantly come up with new ideas and approaches.
  • A hustler, spirited and a good team player.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must and if you can work with Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, that is a huge plus.

The perks:

  • Work in a fast-pace, lean organisation with a ton of opportunities to learn and grow! We aren’t looking for a photocopier or a coffee runner! You get to do real work here!
  • Work with experienced mentors in the media industry who are willing to take you under their wing, be a listening ear and guide you through the internship.
  • A supportive, inclusive atmosphere on a team that values your contributions (and also loves watching dramas as much as you do)
  • A beautiful office in central Singapore serving TGIM breakfast, iced latte all day and mojito Fridays! What's not to love?

If you think you're who we are looking for, send us a message with your complete CV and let us know why you fit the role, don't forget to let your personality peek through.

We look forward to having you on our team!
