Job Description
- Prior experience in handling Commodities and/or Litigation/Disputes matters is highly regarded
- Provide professional, timely, cost effective and practical legal advice and support
- Documentation skill, capable of contract drafting, independent legal review
- Proficiency in Chinese is required due to the need to liaise with internal and external stakeholders based in China
- Able to work well in a fast-paced environment and be solutions oriented
- Capable of grasping the legal developments in the industry
- Support from more senior legal counsel and you should be able to spot key legal risks and issues and explain them to the business in a precise and concise way
- You will be expected to identify alternative strategies and ensure that documents accurately reflect commercial decisions which are always consistent with legal obligation
This role is a junior role in the team and would suit a commercially minded lawyer or law students with a solid corporate, finance and/or commercial law background
