V-Flow Technologies (VFT) is reinventing energy storage with Vanadium redox flow technology, with a vision to develop the cheapest and most scalable Vanadium redox flow batteries in the world. VFT storage solution has an expected life span of 25 years and is proven to be one of the safest and most environmentally friendly battery technologies. VFT founders have deep experience in the renewable space, and Vanadium redox flow technology. VFT is a spin-off of the CleanTech lab of Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, and benefits from unique IP arising from many years of intensive research at NTU.
At this critical juncture of our growth, we are looking for a diligent and experienced Software Engineer to join the growing robust team
Responsibilities
1) Development of Smart EMS for hybrid battery
2) Work and development of BMS and EMS of the battery and work with existing vendors.
3) Development of EMS for different application areas
4) Development of cloud monitoring feature and handle from hardware to display.
5) Development of local battery UI on a particular HMI and central microgrid UI on the cloud
6) Develop of communication between battery EMS and microgrid controller
7) Manual and report preparation for battery
Technical Skills and Competencies
1) Proficient in front-end and back-end programming language: Javascript, python, etc.
2) Must have past experience of developing BMS/EMS for ESS technologies
3) Good knowledge of renewable energy management, energy storage, and microgrid control
4) Good knowledge and experience of various communication interfaces and protocols
5) Experience of battery and microgrid hardware components
6) Knowledge of power electronics interfaces, the control principles and communication setup.
7) Good independent and team player with good communication skill.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in engineering with 5 years working experience on the relevant field.
