Responsibilities:
· Lead the design and development of battery management system (BMS) for battery protection purpose. You should be familiar with sensor calibrations, micro controller unit (MCU), programmable logic controller (PLC), programmable relay, and communication physical and protocol interfaces. You should be required to program various protection functions in MCU, or PLC.
· Lead the design and development of energy management system (EMS) for battery optimal charging performance and optimized microgrid operations.
· Optimisation of existing charging and discharging algorithms for battery.
· Development of cloud monitoring and able to read/modify C/Python codes developed for charge controller and cloud monitoring.
· Design of control methodology for large battery system, which includes communication with inverter, DCDC converters, relays.
· Design and development of GUI in human machine interface (HMI) for different battery products.
Requirements:
· Degree in computer engineering or relevant discipline with minimum 5 years of relevant experience in software engineering management and power management Industry. Previous work experience on battery technology would be ideal.
· Software skills: Python, C/C++, JavaScript, Ruby, etc.
· You should have strong and relevant background in software engineering team, leading BMS, EMS, Communication, HMI, and cloud development projects.
· You should have knowledge of common communication interfaces and protocols, such as RS232, RS485, CAN, TCP/IP, Modbus-TCP, Modbus-RTU, etc.
· You should have basic knowledge of electrical power system, such as battery, microgrid, power electronics, renewable energies, etc.
· You will be required to travel for business.
