The innovative R&D team that research, develop and manufacture worldwide Philips’ Irons & Steamers (World’s #1 Garment Care)
Your Role & Responsibilities:
- Develop new feature(s) / function(s) as part of the Thermo-Mechanical Development team.
- Develop and deliver assigned project by internship supervisor.
- Assist in principle investigation and technical feasibility evaluation.
- Assist in test of concepts / prototypes & data acquisition in development process.
- Assist Thermo-Mechanical Development Engineer in 3D CAD design when needed.
- Assist Thermo-Mechanical Development Engineer in Create evaluation report, bill of material and drawing.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following qualifications and experience:
- Currently pursuing a relevant engineering discipline i.e., Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics.
- Strong interest in research, design, and experimentation.
- Strong analytical skills, conceptual thinking & problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on experience with small tools & equipment, working with plastics/metals, designing experiments.
- Able to commit fully from January to June 2024.
