ROLE OVERVIEW
• You will work closely with our founding team to build and iterate on the core marketplace platform, writing clean, functional code that directly shapes the user experience for thousands of buyers and providers.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Develop and maintain responsive web pages and features across the marketplace platform (frontend and/or backend)
- Collaborate with designers to translate wireframes and mockups into pixel-accurate, interactive interfaces
- Assist in integrating third-party APIs, payment gateways, and service workflows
- Write well-structured, maintainable code following team conventions and best practices
- Identify and fix bugs, performance bottlenecks, and UX friction points
- Participate in agile sprint cycles — planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals
- Experience with at least one modern framework (React, Vue, or Next.js preferred)
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and basic backend concepts (Node.js, Python, or similar is a plus)
- A portfolio or GitHub showing personal or academic projects (even small ones count)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving requirements
- Strong attention to detail and a user-first mindset
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude
