We are looking for a sharp, reliable, and highly organised Personal Assistant Intern to support the CEO directly across daily operations, scheduling, communication, research, and administrative execution.
Role Overview
As the Personal Assistant Intern to the CEO, you will work closely with the founder/CEO and help ensure that key tasks, meetings, documents, and follow-ups are handled efficiently. This is a high-exposure role suitable for someone who wants to understand how a fast-moving fintech startup operates from the inside.
You will be involved in both personal assistant duties and business support tasks, including coordination, research, investor/partner follow-ups, event planning, and internal execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the CEO’s calendar, meetings, calls, and reminders.
- Help prepare meeting notes, agendas, follow-up messages, and task lists.
- Assist with email, document organisation, and basic administrative work.
- Coordinate with internal team members, external partners, vendors, investors, and clients.
- Conduct basic research on companies, people, events, markets, competitors, and business opportunities.
- Help arrange travel, event attendance, logistics, and meeting schedules.
- Track important deadlines, follow-ups, and action items.
- Support the CEO on ad hoc business, operational, and personal administrative tasks.
- Assist with preparing simple presentations, reports, proposals, and company materials when needed.
- Help maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive company information.
Requirements
- Currently studying or recently graduated from business, finance, communications, management, or a related field.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and responsible.
- Strong written and spoken English.
- Comfortable with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Notion, Slack, or similar productivity tools.
- Able to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Good communication skills and confidence in coordinating with different stakeholders.
- Able to handle confidential information with maturity and discretion.
- Strong sense of ownership and willingness to take initiative.
- Interest in fintech, startups, trading, investing, or AI is a strong plus.
