Urban Haircare Pte Ltd – Graphics Designer Intern

Established in 2014, Urban Haircare is made up of a team of enthusiastic and passionate hair professionals with a clear vision to evolve the Singapore Hairdressing industry. 

Over the years, we have built trust with a strong network of salons and hairstylists that share our same passion and vision. We have provided education, training and demos to more than thousands of hairstylists in Singapore. We have built up a premium portfolio of leading professional brands. We have helped to deliver quality hair services and products to our fellow consumers in Singapore. 

In 2018, we have expanded our operations to Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia as well.

We are looking for interns who would be able to help us in creating and designing visual content for different professional brands in our portfolio! We welcome students who are pursuing education in related majors or are keen in gaining experience in design work in the beauty industry :).

Responsibilities: 

• Assist in creating and designing marketing materials (both print and digital) for different professional brands under our portfolio
• Brainstorm for ideas to promote and increase presence of brand(s) in the market
• Support digital presence of the brand(s) which will require a good design aesthetic sense/graphic design skills
• Support in other ad-hoc duties

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, etc)
• Strong communication skills
• A keen eye for consistency, colour, typography, and details
• Able to meet tight deadlines and produce creative work
• Skills in photography/videography is a bonus
