Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Supply Chain Operations Intern to join our team. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in various aspects of supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and process improvement. The intern will work closely with the supply chain team, supporting day-to-day operations and contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of our supply chain processes.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the procurement process by researching and identifying potential suppliers, obtaining quotes, and comparing pricing and quality.
  2. Support inventory management activities, including monitoring stock levels, conducting inventory audits, and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
  3. Picking and packing of orders. 
  4. Answering of inquiries thru phone and emails. 
  5. Assist in coordinating logistics activities, such as shipment tracking, coordinating with carriers, and resolving any transportation issues.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth order processing and timely delivery to customers.
  7. Contribute to process improvement initiatives, identifying areas for optimization and proposing solutions to streamline operations.
  8. Assist in analyzing supply chain data and generating reports to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement.
  9. Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve any supply chain-related issues or discrepancies.
  10. Participate in meetings and contribute to discussions related to supply chain operations and process enhancements.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor to support overall supply chain operations.

Qualifications:

  1. Currently enrolled in a Diploma or Bachelor's degree program, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  3. Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with supply chain software is a plus.
  5. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and external stakeholders.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and self-motivated approach.
  7. Basic understanding of supply chain concepts and processes.
  8. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools used in supply chain operations
