Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail oriented intern to join our Internal Finance team.
Description
- Support the finance team with accounting tasks
- Handling accounts receivable and accounts payable by maintaining accurate records with full supporting documents
- Perform monthly AP and inter-company reconciliation, monthly financial closing activities and yearly audit requirements
- Track and record monthly prepayment schedules
- Support daily accounting tasks, such as bookkeeping and account reconciliation
- Work on specific areas like accruals and fixed assets
- Assist in preparing basic financial statements and trial balances
- Participate in finance-related projects and test new systems when needed
- Maintain proper filing system and assist with general administrative duties
- Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
- 2nd or 3rd year Accountancy student
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Able to work minimum 3 full days (or equivalent) in our Singapore office
