Job Description

Job Overview

We are looking for a proactive and resourceful Business Development Executive to support the growth of Tiny Away through partnerships, events, ambassador engagement and revenue-generating initiatives.

This is a hands-on role that requires someone who is highly organised, enjoys building relationships and can manage multiple projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who takes ownership, works independently and is comfortable representing the company both locally and overseas.

Job Responsibilities

Business Development & Partnerships

  • Support the development and execution of business development strategies.
  • Identify and assist in securing partnership opportunities with brands, tourism boards, agencies and corporate partners.
  • Manage partnership communications, proposals and follow-ups.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with existing and prospective partners.

Events & Ambassador Program

  • Coordinate and execute business development events, networking sessions and ambassador activities.
  • Liaise with venues, suppliers, sponsors and partners to ensure successful event delivery.
  • Travel overseas when required to support event setup, execution and partner engagement.
  • Represent Tiny Away professionally during meetings and events.

Sales & Commercial Support

  • Assist with corporate enquiries, group bookings and other revenue opportunities
  • Track leads and maintain accurate records within internal systems.
  • Monitor campaign performance and prepare post-event or partnership reports.

Project Coordination

  • Coordinate across internal departments to ensure smooth execution of projects.
  • Manage timelines, follow up on action items and ensure deliverables are completed on schedule.
  • Identify issues proactively and recommend practical solutions.

Administrative Support

  • Maintain organised documentation, reports and partnership records.
  • Provide general business development support as required.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, Tourism or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in Business Development, Partnerships, Sales, Marketing or Event Management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills with great attention to detail.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable communicating with senior stakeholders and external partners.
  • Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Commercially minded with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Positive attitude, adaptable and willing to take initiative.
  • Willing and able to travel overseas when required.
  • Comfortable working in a growing company where responsibilities may evolve.
