Thryft – Operations Executive (Internship)

Thryft is Singapore's largest online sustainable bookstore. Driven by smart algorithms, users can trade-in their books for credits that they can in turn spend on the platform in conjunction with cash. Users looking to purchase second-hand books at affordable prices can also order them directly on the platform using cash. With a mission for sustainability, Thryft also supports local communities and global environmental efforts with every purchase.

Job Overview

 As an Operations Specialist, you will handle and oversee the daily operational demands of Thryft which includes: finding, packing and scheduling shipment of orders. The Operations Specialist will also need to supervise and assist workers with disabilities from SG Enable.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Finding and packing of books

- Scheduling shipment of orders

- Supervise workers with disabilities

Requirements

 - Minimum 3 months commitment, starting in January

- Commit 22 hours per week (this is a part-time position)

- Finds operations work fulfilling and challenging

- Keen interest to innovate work processes

- Fun and positive attitude

- Flexible work schedule including Saturday half day
