The Candidate
We are looking for a Graphic Design & Content Creation Intern who has a passion for pets and social media to join our fast-growing team!
Apart from a strong sense of design, the ideal candidate should have a keen interest in photography/videography for social media content creation. Their portfolio should demonstrate their passion for illustrative graphic design and creative thinking.
This candidate will work closely with the marketing and design team to create beautiful and accessible visuals to inspire & engage, from concept to execution across many platforms.
Responsibilities
- Producing new digital artwork based on brand guidelines using Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop
- Developing new graphics/visuals and collaterals weekly for social media marketing purposes
- Content creation of interesting visuals and fun videos for social media
- Product photography of samples
- Handling a mixture of design and marketing responsibilities including ideating for content calendar and campaign concepts
- Assisting with the management of the website, newsletters and social media channels, where necessary
Qualifications
- Ongoing or completed Diploma/Degree in Visual Communications or related design courses
- An existing student with a local polytechnic or university
- Basic illustration, photography, and videography skills
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe illustrator
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro CC or Adobe After Effects
- Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography skills, and design skills
- An awareness, understanding, and interest in the world of pets
- Portfolio of work
