The Red Pencil (Singapore) (https://redpencil.org/singapore/), a registered charity, is pleased to announce an internship opportunity (full-time/part-time) in our Programmes department. Our organization is committed to bringing the healing benefits of creative arts therapy to less privileged children, adults, and families who have experienced overwhelming and traumatic life circumstances such as life-threatening illness, violence, and abuse, for which they may have no words.


As an intern at The Red Pencil, you will have the chance to learn from experienced professionals, gain hands-on experience and make a significant contribution to our mission, serving the less-privileged in our community. Our internships will offer a challenging and meaningful work experience, providing them with the opportunity to develop skills while making a difference in the lives of those we serve.


We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Programme & Administration Intern to join our team and support the Programmes team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Programmes team in organising and/or providing support for creative arts therapy programmes, preparing write-ups for programmes etc.


This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain a good understanding and experience in the non-profit sector. 

Job Description

Responsibilities:

1) Assist with data entry, processing and compilation for our reports

2) Assist with research of partner organisations

3) Help organise and/or provide support for creative arts therapy programmes

4) Assist with preparing write-ups for programmes

5) Assist with office administration tasks such as upkeep of the centre

6) Other administrative duties as necessary

  • Diploma holder/ currently pursuing a degree in any field
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong research skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Passion for the nonprofit sector
