The Prefecture is on the lookout for a local/ foreign student to join us as an intern. The position will balance design, operations and admin tasks; everything you need to be a creative entrepreneur.

You will take part in the day to day operations of The Prefecture and report directly to the brand owner/ founder.
The Prefecture is a menswear tropical tailoring brand specialising in custom clothing.
Founded in Singapore 5 years ago, we have been deeply cultivating partnerships with local craftsmen & women. Currently, we’re working on steadily changing the sartorial code for the style conscious (and fashion challenged) man.

Creative:
techpack drawings
graphic/ branding design
brainstorm ideas for pitches
suggest writing topics
propose social media content
create presentation materials & templates
Operational:
handling of customer inquiries through calls, emails and chat
traveling to different locations to collect/drop off merchandise & fabrics from different suppliers (transport allowance will be provided)
steaming/pressing clothing; preparing them for fittings and/or pick up
housekeeping duties
assisting with occasional events such as fashion shows and corporate presentations
Administrative:
manage appointment & events calendar
use word processing, spreadsheets, databases
handle basic bookkeeping tasks
order and manage supplies
