For our clients we provide an off-the-shelf solution to closing deals and building sales pipelines in a cost-effective, lean manner through highly-skilled, drop-in remote teams, trained in best practice business development techniques and following our own proven methodology. We help our clients be more Lean.

We are looking for a current student or recent graduate in a relevant marketing discipline to join our growing team for a six-month internship. If you are the kind of person that thinks that one day you’d like to work in the marketing team at DBS or P&G then this role is probably not for you. You would be joining a small team of just 4 people based in Singapore right at the beginning of a remarkable journey. We have survived the medical COVID earthquake, but many economic aftershocks are still to come. The Lean Company may just be the answer to some of these problems. Great companies are built out of crises such as this. Would you like to be part of that?
You will be mentored by senior management as you get your hands dirty…in fact, positively filthy in the following areas:
- Help develop and bring along the TLC website
- Take ownership of TLC’s own social channels and output
- Contribute to the development of client proposal documents (ppt / google slides)
- Research and trial run CRM, email and other marketing systems
- Help shape the voice of the company as we walk the communications tightrope of connecting with Corporate Clients but also reaching out to a network of millennial, digitally savvy workers and prospective workers
- Manage our virtual event output and integrate the relevant platforms with our website (Eventbrite, Zoom etc.)
- Build our own proprietary database of business prospects across the ASEAN
- Manage the databases of clients and adhere to and implement data privacy best practice
- Help design bespoke client landing pages through our website
- Help with the development of The Lean Academy immersive training programme for new recruits
It would also be brilliant if you were:
- Passionate about learning about and developing your skills
- Happy to be given large amounts of responsibility to take control of projects
- Have a good understanding of data privacy best practice and database management
- Ambitious and passionate about growing a fantastic company right here in Singapore
- Experienced in running social media channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram)
- Able to work closely with our business development team to create engaging cross-channel campaigns for our clients
- Prone to dabbling in creative writing – if you are keen to help with our own content for our blog that would be a massive plus. If not, don’t worry!
- Trained in Photoshop or similar applications that would also be good
