Job Description

At a glance
We are looking for a Learning & Development intern to join our People team! Are you a switched on and driven individual who would like to put your theoretical knowledge to practice in a start-up environment? Then we might just be what you’re looking for!

The L&D Intern will identify, create, and deliver training and development initiatives to our workforce to up-skill our employees, increase performance, and ensure engagement of our internal stakeholders.

About the role
You’ll play a pivotal role in developing and leading an internal staff development program. Working closely with key stakeholders to understand the importance of the current needs of the organisation, you’ll be part of the team that sets up L&D infrastructure for a company on a trajectory for rapid growth.

Responsibilities:
For rapid growth to take place at scale, 3 main areas are integral to the success:

Internal Processes and Systems
Assist the L&D Lead in the implementation of internal processes and infrastructure for L&D through:

  • Managing training requests, feedback collection, and organisation of information
  • Documenting updates made to the training content
  • Storing and backing up training documentation 

Update training documentation and maintenance of LMS (Learning Management System):

  • Organising current training materials more effectively
  • Improving content relevance and usability
  • Partaking in general content development

General Training
Conduct research for training programs through:

  • Exploring options, costing, comparisons
  • Research grants for training programs

Function Specific Training
Conduct & document training needs analysis over calls and in-person in Singapore:

  • Learning and Development needs analysis across various departments
  • Involve in the process of implementing the relevant L&D solutions

Skills & experiences required

  • Recent graduate, or near completion of a tertiary HR qualification
  • A positive, creative, can-do attitude
  • Proactive approach in identifying opportunities to continuously improve the L&D function
  • Ability to be proactive and efficient within a team environment 
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets/Microsoft Excel and Google Slides/Microsoft Powerpoint will be preferred
