Responsibilities
- Conceptualization, testing/prototyping, assessment, project management and implementation of group-wide innovation projects involving emerging technologies
- Tech scouting – understanding global business requirements and identification of emerging technologies and engaging international start-up communities
- Research on emerging technological/industry trends, and support of internal process improvement initiatives involving the use of technology
- Drive internal innovation culture (e.g. rollout of global communication platforms, communication materials for idea challenges, logistics for internal meetings, etc.)
- Assist in Sustainability projects (e.g. Tech scout for solutions to keep Ascott assets competitive on sustainability-related issues, assist to drive ‘first ever’ group-wide green initiatives, collate and track energy, water and waste consumption levels from clusters)
Requirements
- Creative with an open-mind and curiosity for technologies
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Self-starter who can identify opportunities to assist and see-through agreed actions
- Proficient in MS Office and basic experience in using Adobe Photoshop or graphic design skills
- Ability to commit full-time for at least 3 - 6 months
