Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Assist senior designers with concept development, mood board creation, and material sourcing.
  • Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings, including floor plans, elevations, and renderings using relevant software.
  • Conduct research on design trends, furniture, fixtures, and finishes.
  • Support the preparation of design proposals and presentations for clients.
  • Assist with site visits, measurements, and documentation.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for material samples and product information.
  • Maintain project documentation, schedules, and material libraries.
  • Participate in client meetings and team discussions, taking notes and contributing ideas.
  • Perform general administrative tasks as needed to support the design team.

 

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Strong creative flair and a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in design software, including but not limited to:
    • AutoCAD
    • SketchUp
    • V-Ray / other rendering software (e.g., Enscape, Lumion)
    • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
  • Basic understanding of design principles, space planning, and color theory.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Eagerness to learn and a positive, collaborative attitude.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your design projects (academic or personal) is highly preferred.
