Tendou – AI Operations and Client Coordinator (Intern)

Tendou (tendou.ai) gets Singapore small businesses found online, including inside AI answers.

When someone asks ChatGPT, Gemini or Google "who is a good funeral director in Singapore" or "best chiropractor near me", those tools name a handful of businesses. Most local SMEs are invisible in those answers and have no idea. We find out where a business stands, rebuild their website so search engines and AI can actually read it, then track whether they start getting named and whether enquiries go up.

Our clients are real Singapore businesses. Funeral homes, chiropractors, tuition centres, renovation contractors, dental clinics, movers, preschools. Not startups, not tech companies. People who are good at their trade and losing work because nobody can find them.

You would be working directly with the founder. Small operation, real clients, work that ships every week.

What the job actually is:

A large part of our production is automated. Research runs, website mockups, audit reports and outreach assets are generated in batches, sometimes a hundred at a time. The automation is fast and it is also wrong often enough that nothing can go to a client unchecked. Your job is to be the human in that loop, and to be the person clients hear from.

Checking the work before it goes out. You run through a written checklist on each batch. Did the research actually run, or did it fail halfway. Does the search term match what the business really sells, or did a bakery get researched as a generic food supplier. Are the images broken or the wrong shape. Is there a review rating or an award we have not verified. Is there a claim we cannot back up. You pull anything that fails and tell us why.

Running the automated jobs and noticing when they break. You start research and build jobs, watch them run, and spot when one stalls, repeats itself or produces nonsense.

Talking to clients. You reply to client messages on WhatsApp and email, answer the straightforward questions and pass on the ones you should not answer alone. You chase what we are waiting on, usually website logins, photos or approval on copy.

Keeping track. At any point there are a dozen clients at different stages. You keep one clear picture of that so nothing sits forgotten for three weeks.

Reporting. You pull the numbers from Google Search Console for each live client and write a short plain English update.

What we are looking for:

Clear written English, because you will message clients directly. A careful eye, because most of this role is noticing something is slightly off and checking it instead of assuming it is fine. Honesty under pressure, because you will sometimes find a mistake in work due to go out today and we would much rather hear it late than not hear it. Comfortable using ChatGPT or Claude already. Organised without being chased. No coding needed, but you should not be scared of a terminal window, a spreadsheet or a file path.

Nice to have, not required: any SEO, marketing or web content experience, any customer facing experience including retail or F&B, any exposure to Search Console, Google Business Profile or WordPress.

What you get out of it:

You will learn how AI search actually works from the inside, on real client accounts rather than a course. You will see how a small agency runs end to end, from finding a client to shipping a site to reporting on it. And you get a lot of direct responsibility early, because there is nobody else to hand it to.

Details: S$1,500 per month. 40 hours per week. 3 to 6 months, extendable, with a real path to something longer if it works out. Remote first, you will need your own laptop and a quiet place to take calls. Singapore based. Start: immediate.
