JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an individual to work as an analyst in a Global Macro Hedge Fund.
We are looking for candidates with an Engineering or Finance background, preferably with a Masters Degree. Ideally the candidate would have 2 years of prior work experience, preferably in the Finance/Banking industry.
The candidate will need to meet the following requirements:
1) High Level of Programming Skills,. Experience in machine learning and algo trading would be a plus.
2) Knowledge in Website development and maintenance using WordPress would be a bonus
3) Keen interest in financial markets and the ability to work independently
Daily tasks would include:
1) Monitoring positions and profit/loss in the portfolio
2) Analytical research on new investment themes which would require fundamental and technical analysis on the markets (training will be provided)
Main Project
4) Create a systematic trading tool for foreign exchange and other liquid assets based on machine learning.
The candidate will be coached during this 6 month internship to acquire the necessary skills to be a junior analyst on a macro trading desk.
