Operations Intern

The internship is a unique opportunity to gain exposure to the fashion industry and experience building a fast-growing startup.
Description
- Collaborate in a team setting to deliver results.
- As an operations intern, you will be broadly concerned with assisting business operations in the company
- Sample and inventory procurement and management
- You will be liaising with logistic providers to ensure smooth delivery of designer pieces from fashion brands.
- Running the product onboarding process which will allow you to see how a product goes from the designers' warehouses to our app and eventually to the customer
- Interacting with customer using the latest chat systems to understand our target market and find areas of improvement to better serve our customers
- Understand the logistic requirements and contribute to building the logistic process.Operation processed can always be more efficient and it is your task to suggest room for improvement.
- Get to the ground level and understand how every box are packed and how to organise a warehouse to maximise efficiency
- Do market research to understand what are the technologies that can be adopted and how can we restructure our processes to set new industry standards
Requirements
- Candidates should be proficient in Excel.
- Ability to synthesize and communicate analyses
- Have a positive attitude, and willingness to roll up their sleeves and get involved, and be extremely organized and detail oriented
- Detailed Oriented and comfortable with data entry and analysis
- Must be a scrappy self-starter who knows how to prioritize and take ownership without a lot of structure or guidance
- Full of ideas and has the determination to change the existing workflow to pursue continuous improvement
