Straits Interactive Pte. Ltd. – Intern (Generative AI Solutions Associate)

We are seeking a highly-motivated individual to join our team as a full-time Intern (Generative AI Solutions Associate). As part of our Generative AI Solutions Team, you will play a key role in testing, maintaining, creating, managing and supporting our Generative AI applications while conducting research to identify opportunities for productivity enhancement. You will have the opportunity to explore various Large Language Models, including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Co-Pilot, Perplexity, Zephyr, and several others, as well as engage in experiments with Small Language Models. (No programming knowledge needed.)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Testing Generative AI Business & Productivity Tools:

• Conduct thorough testing of Generative AI business and productivity tools to ensure functionality, reliability, and performance meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and report bugs or issues and follow up till resolution.
• Gen AI Business & Productivity Tools and Toolkit Management:
• Including tasks such as creation, deletion, and analytical evaluation to optimise for business use cases.

Maintenance and Support:

• Maintain and update Generative AI business and productivity tools to ensure alignment and expected outcomes to business use cases.
• Provide timely and effective support to users on the Generative AI tools, including monitoring and addressing support tickets, inquiries, and feedback.

Stakeholder Management: 

• Act as the point of contact for internal stakeholders involved in Generative AI projects.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, managing expectations, and addressing concerns proactively.

Documentation: 

• Assist in the development of user guides and documentation to support the adoption and utilisation of Generative AI solutions across the organisation.

Research and Evaluation: 

• Stay abreast of the latest developments and advancements in Generative AI technologies.
• Conduct research, experimentation, and evaluation to assess potential use cases and applications within the organisation.
• Make recommendations for the adoption of new tools, frameworks, and methodologies to enhance organisational capabilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Pursuing a diploma or degree in Business Management, Social Science, Computer Science, Computing & Law, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of Generative AI with experience working with Generative AI technologies (eg. ChatGPT) is preferred.
• Creative, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide user support.
• Proven ability to conduct research, analyse data, and generate insights to drive decision-making and innovation.
• Able to commit to a full-time internship of at least 3 months.
