ST Recruitment Centre – Technical Sales Engineer (Internal)

A Swiss-based precision engineering company providing design, customization, manufacturing, installation, testing, and commissioning of industrial machines, equipment, and automation solutions for powder processing sectors. These sectors mainly include the food and beverage, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries. They also provide pharma consulting and equipment rental services.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronic, or Chemical Engineering (or equivalent)
• Applicants with relevant experience in powder processing systems, equipment, or engineering sales will have an added advantage
• Self-motivated, independent, and able to work in a dynamic environment
• A great team player with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and in a team
• Fresh graduates without experience are welcome to apply
• Willing to travel occasionally
• 5-day work week
• Able to start work with short notice is an added advantage

Responsibilities

• Be a team member of the sales department
• Study technical enquiries and interpret client requirements and/or URS
• Participate in and lead technical clarification meetings
• Provide process design, technical, and application support, including process flow diagram or flowsheet generation
• Provide costing on proposed equipment and solutions according to customer requirements within the stipulated budget, and prepare quotations together with the scope of supply on technical specifications
• Prepare technical presentations for clients
• Liaise with the factory or counterparts to request quotations
• Work with draughtsmen for process flow diagrams, flowsheets, and layout generation
