SPH Media Limited – Radio Production Assistant Intern

We are looking for proactive and creative interns to join SPH Media's Radio team under the English Malay Tamil Media Group (EMTMG). 

Key Responsibilites: 

The Radio Production Assistant Intern will: 

-Support the production team in creating engaging on-air and digital content. 

-Responsibilities include researching topics, assisting with scriptwriting, logging audio, editing sound bites, scheduling guests, and managing studio setups during live or recorded shows. 

-Interns will also help with social media updates, show promos, and basic administrative tasks. 

This role offers hands-on experience in radio broadcasting, storytelling, and content creation, providing valuable insight into the workflow of a professional radio station. Ideal candidates are creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about media and communications.

Interns will gain exposure to:

-Gain hands-on experience in conceptualizing and executing on-ground activations, brand campaigns, and listener engagement initiatives. You’ll learn how to build brand awareness, craft promotional content, and support partnership integrations across radio and digital platforms. The role offers exposure to campaign planning, event logistics, and performance tracking.

-Broadcast Experience, Radio Knowledge, News curation, Scripting, Producing

Requirements:

-Students pursuing an Undergraduate Degree or Diploma in preferably Media Studies, Mass Comm, possessing interest in broadcast, radio and basic editing knowledge.

Mentors will provide Adobe Audition Training, Scripting, Producing. On job training will then help sharpen these skills, helping interns develop a strong understanding of how marketing strategies drive audience connection in a business and finance media environment.
