Job Description

Position Overview:

The Pharmacovigilance Intern, based in ST Singapore, will play a crucial role in supporting our drug safety and pharmacovigilance activities. Reporting to a Pharmacovigilance Manager, this internship will offer a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of pharmacovigilance and contribute to the safe and effective use of our pharmaceutical products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adverse Events Processing: The intern will be responsible for the timely and accurate recording of adverse event (AE) reports, according to local and global requirements
  • Follow up: Perform follow up to request further information and/or clarification from reporters
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain document management process for AE case reports. Report AE’s to partners and health authorities
  • Quality Assurance: Perform Quality Check (QC) of cases that have been entered into the PV database
  • Reconciliation: Performing allocated reconciliation activities with internal and external stakeholders
  • PV Projects: Collaborate with the pharmacovigilance team on specific projects related to audits, PV documentation, risk minimization and continuous improvement of pharmacovigilance processes.

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in pharmacy, pharmaceutical sciences, life sciences, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation
  • Knowledge of pharmacovigilance principles and regulatory requirements is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently when required
  • An interest in drug safety and a commitment to patient well-being
