The Job

You will be responsible for :

• Developing backend components to improve responsiveness and overall performance
• Improving the functionality of existing systems
• Building reusable code and libraries for future use
• Maintaining codebase and implementing any necessary additions or enhancements
• Coordinating with internal teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions
• Working with the team to plan new features.
• Managing testing and troubleshooting bugs in a timely manner
• Preparing technical documentation

The Profile

• You possess a Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• You have at least 3 years experience within a Software Engineer or similar role, ideally within a startup.
• You possess strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript, AngularJS and Python.
• You are familiar with IOS & Android OS operating systems, as well as MySQL and PostgreSQL
• You have experience with Restful APIs and 3rd party API integration
• You possess strong knowledge of object-relational mapping (ORM).
• Experience with frontend technologies such as ReactJS/AngularJS will be an advantage
• You are familiar with Git as well as design principles from Object-Oriented Programming and asynchronous REST communication
• You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• You are able to prioritise and manage multiple deliverables along with a team.
• You are willing to guide and mentor junior developers for customized website development or product UI design.
• You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard
