The Job

As the Web Designer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing visually appealing and user-friendly websites. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and collaborate across multiple functions to create outstanding digital experiences. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of design principles, possess excellent technical web development skills, and stay up to date with the latest industry trends.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing visually appealing and user-friendly websites, ensuring a seamless user experience
• Creating a wireframe, mockups, and prototypes to present the design concept to stakeholders
• Collaborating with internal teams to understand project requirements, objectives, and target audience
• Developing and maintaining design guidelines and ensure brand consistency throughout all web projects
• Optimizing website designs for maximum speed, accessibility, and responsiveness across different devices and platforms
• Conducting usability testing and gather feedback to continually improve the user experience
• Staying up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in web design
• Collaborating with the development team to implement designs, providing guidance and support throughout the development process
• Troubleshooting design-related issues and provide timely solutions
• Managing multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines effectively

Ideal Candidate

• You have Bachelor’s Degree in Web design, Graphic design, or a related field (equivalent experience)
• You have proven experience as a Web Designer or similar role, showcasing a portfolio of past web design projects 
• You have proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Dreamweaver, XD, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.), Figma, and Bootstrap
• You have solid understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first approach
• You have knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with the ability to collaborate effectively with developers
• You have familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and worked with platforms such as WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, Shopify, etc. 
• You have experience in SEO and SEM and a strong understanding of optimizing websites and running effective marketing campaigns is a plus
• You have strong visual design skills, including layout, typography, color theory, and iconography
• You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal team members
• You have attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work within project deadlines
• You have ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently with minimal supervision
