The Job

Your responsibilities will include:

• Creating marketing plans and promotional materials, such as brochures and direct mail pieces, to increase brand awareness and drive sales
• Selling wine products to restaurants, bars, hotels, liquor stores, or other venues where alcohol is served
• Establishing relationships with potential clients to identify their needs and recommend appropriate products
• Interacting with customers to answer questions about product features, benefits, and tastes
• Maintaining product knowledge through continuing education classes or seminars provided by the company
• Developing relationships with suppliers to ensure an adequate supply of wines in store inventory
• Preparing bids for new business opportunities, including identifying target markets, analyzing competition, and estimating sales potential
• Applying knowledge of wine production techniques to select wines that meet the client’s needs
• Attending wine industry trade shows to promote products

Ideal Candidate

• You have at least 1 year experience ideally in Sales (B2C) within Consumer industry.
• Experience within Community Management, Startup Experience, would be a strong advantage.
• Experience within Consumer would be a strong advantage.
• You possess excellent interpersonal as well as written and verbal communication skills.
• You are a strong networker & relationship builder
• You enjoy finding creative solutions to problems
