The Job
Sales Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Hunter mentality to develop new customers and manage the pipelines, look for business opportunities and foster good customer relationship for revenue growth and customer retention.
- Provide pre and post sales assistance and after-sales technical service to customers
- Prepare technical comprehensive proposals, check stocks lead times, follow up on technical sales enquiries/proposal from customers
- Prepare samples according to customer requests, sales visit to understands customer business, maintaining information and project status/activity; weekly basis report as required by supervisor
- Facilitate meeting and workshop/training with customers on behalf of Management and Product Marketing as required
- Innovate and create e-marketing activities in LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram’s, e-trade shows, conferences and other e-marketing events.
- Research and Knowledge of technical/application base on all products
- Deliver presentations and hand-on demonstrations of products, applications and technology for the purpose of product sales.
Ideal Candidate
Requirement:
- Degree/Diploma/ITC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualifications.
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in either industrial electrical/mechanical component sales or with electrical mechanical products; fresh graduate with other working experiences are welcome to apply
- Fluent in English & Mandarin, both oral and written.
- Excellent in communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Proficient with MS Words, Excel, PowerPoint
- Knowledge of SAP or ERP, if any preferable but not essential.
- Customer Driven, Aggressive, persistent and results oriented
- Disciplined, hardworking and able to perform under pressure
- Pro-active and must be a good team player
- Possess Class 3 License and own a car
- Local and/or Overseas training will be provided
