The Job

You will be responsible for :

  • Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering excellent service.
  • Ascertaining customer's needs and recommending and displaying items that meet these.
  • Managing the point-of-sale processes.
  • Ensuring maintenance of inventory accuracy and receiving shipments.
  • Staying up to date on products, market and trends.
  • Maintaining outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.
  • Hiring, motivating, coaching and developing high calibre sales talent to ensure service excellence.
  • Full profit and loss management as well as establishing KPIs.
  • Formulating sales plans and implementing effective strategies to achieve sales targets.
  • Analysing sales generated for each product category and implementing action plans to improve this.
  • Working closely with merchandising team to ensure stock and assortment levels are met.
  • Coordinating with various internal stakeholders to achieve operational efficiency and brand consistency.
  • Monitoring and maintaining the highest standard of customer services across all stores.
  • Training and developing all staff to ensure brand consistency as well as service excellence.
  • Helping the Company meet its objectives by developing & implementing high impact retail training programs in line with business needs and priorities.
  • Delivering high quality retail sales & service training programs to sales associates.
  • Providing sales floor coaching on brand, product and service experience.
  • Collating feedback of completed training and making improvements where required in order to ensure continuous improvement in the quality of instructional design and delivery.
  • Reviewing and revising training materials to ensure they are in line with brand guidelines, operating procedures and systems.
  • Sourcing and recommending vendors and other external partners to design, develop, and / or deliver learning solutions where applicable.
  • Conducting train the trainer workshops to ensure training scalability and effectiveness.

Ideal Candidate

Skills Required:

  • You have at least 1 year experience including solid experience in a similar role within Retail.
  • You possess excellent communication, interpersonal skills and presentation skills with the ability to interact and build credibility across all levels of the organisation.
  • You are service-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • You are a strong mentor and coach who builds high performing teams
  • You are a strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholders
  • You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments
