The Job

Responsibilities:

RETAIL & EVENTS MANAGEMENT (50%)

Community Engagement & Partnership:

• Engage new partners and potential prospects, create new opportunities for outreach and sales.
• Establish and nurture close working relationships with existing retail partners.

Planning & Logistics:

• Understand the key objectives of each retail shop floor & event before drafting a detailed proposal for our clients.
• Anticipate potential risk, propose solutions to ensure the smooth running of each event.
• Briefing the marketing team on the upcoming roadshows and the support required.
• Be involved in the production of marketing materials for the retail & roadshow.
• Liaise and coordinate with relevant contractors or vendors to fulfil event requirements.

Inventory Management and Procurement:

• Organise and keep track of product display samples for retail & roadshows.
• Source for event-related items or warehousing needs from local/overseas suppliers.
• Arrange and liaise with the appointed the vendor for delivery, collection and payment.

Tracking & Evaluation:

• Ensure that retail storefront is neat and consistent with brand identity.
• Periodically evaluate the performance of the promoters.
• Suggest pointers for improvements and ensure that it is being implemented by relevant parties.
• Prepare a pre and post-event report and present it during the weekly team huddles. Keep the customer contact list updated

Ideal Candidate

Skills Required:

• You have at least 1 year experience ideally in Event Management within Industrial industry.
• You have prior experience in working with multiple vendors.
• You are a strong planner with excellent project management, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
