The Job

You will be responsible for :

  • Provide outstanding customer support through various communication channels, including phone, email, live chat, and social media.
  • Assist customers in navigating our website, helping them find the perfect furniture products that meet their needs and preferences.
  • Identifying opportunities for new business development through following up on leads and conducting research on target clients.
  • New business generation by meeting potential clients to understand needs and providing relevant solutions.
  • Managing the sales process to close new business opportunities.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and issues in a professional and timely manner, aiming for first-contact resolution.
  • Upsell and cross-sell relevant products to customers, increasing sales and enhancing the overall shopping experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, furniture trends, and promotions to effectively assist customers with their purchase decisions.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to achieve sales targets and contribute to the growth of the company.
  • Process orders, returns, refunds, and exchanges in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed customer records in the database, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve the customer experience and share feedback with the relevant departments.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure their satisfaction and encourage positive reviews and referrals.

Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience in a customer service or sales role, preferably in e-commerce, the furniture or home decor industry.
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal English and Mandarin (additional language skills are a plus) to be able to liaise effectively to different stakeholders across the region.
  • Strong empathy and a customer-centric approach, with the ability to understand and address customer needs effectively.
  • Solid problem-solving skills, able to handle customer complaints and find satisfactory resolutions.
  • Enthusiastic and persuasive with a natural ability to upsell and cross-sell products.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and customer support software is advantageous.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently to handle a high volume of customer inquiries.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of maintaining accurate records.
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate and contribute to the success of the team and the company as a whole.
  • A positive attitude, adaptability, and a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
