The Job

Our client is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join the team

Your responsibilities will include:

• Processing invoices and expense claims.
• Resolving all payables-related issues with internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintaining accounting ledgers and assisting in monthly closing.
• Performing vendor and bank reconciliations.
• Working with various stakeholders to improve AP process, controls & analysis.
• Managing the GL reporting and processing of journals.
• Maintaining fixed assets register.
• Liaising with AR/AP teams on month-end closing activities.
• Liaising with auditors and preparing audit schedules.

Ideal Candidate

Skills required:

• You are familiar with basic accounting principles.
• You have proficiency with computers and bookkeeping software
• You have knowledge of using MYOB accounting software
• You have hands-on experience with MYOB (preferably but not necessary)
• You have the ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive.
• You have a commitment to working efficiently and accurately.
