To assist the Product team in product development and product lifecycle management to ensure Igloocompany’s products are innovative, of high quality and customer inspired. Tasks may include market research, prototyping, testing, technical support, documentation etc.
Product Development - 40%
- Participate in new project developments and be part of the product and developer team for Igloohome products & prototypes.
- Help create install guides, instruction manuals and internal troubleshooting documentation
- Assist the Product Manager with product development activities, such as market research, and testing hardware and software solutions.
- Perform user trials to determine optimal user interaction and ensure that installation and setup is simple.
Market Research - 20%
- Coordinate Beta Trials and field testing activities
- Market research into new product development activities and proof of concepts
Content Generation - 30%
- Create content based on use cases, to be used for content marketing purposes
- Support development of internal training materials for distributor and partner training
In-Market Support - 10%
- Analyze market return data to drive and prioritize improvements
- Market support and troubleshooting for field failures and returns
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s of Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Industrial or equivalent)
- Background in market research, prototyping through past internships or personal/school projects
- Experience with any CAD software,microcontroller programming/POC development
- Comfortable communicating with a range of diverse stakeholders and empathize with user problems
Working Conditions:
- Monday to Friday, 9AM to 6PM
- Office Work Environment (closest MRT is one-north!)
- From time to time, there may be some travel required to customer sites.
