Job Description

The intern will get to understand Singtel’s sustainability strategy, approach and programs. The intern will be involved in the development, planning and implementation of sustainability activities and events which include fundraising activities related to the Singtel Touching Lives Fund, Sustainability Month, Singtel-Singapore Cancer Society Race Against Cancer, Digital Enablement projects such as Singtel Digital Silvers and Singtel Future Makers, our social innovation program.

The intern is expected to:

  • Plan and organize sustainability staff awareness activities and internal as well as external facing events
  • Manage general administrative support related to the events
  • Coordinate and liaise with the various parties involved (e.g. external partners and vendors, charities, employees) for event set-up, logistics, delivery of goods and services etc. to ensure smooth execution of the events
  • Manage and track events budget and timelines
  • Craft communications and write articles for our internal portal to engage staff on our sustainability initiatives

Requirements:

  • Keen interest in the sustainability field
  • Independent worker and team player
  • Conscientious and attention to details
  • Good organizational and communications skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Duration: Jul to Dec 2021 (full-time)
