This internship project focuses on developing high-performance recycled polymers for engineering applications. The intern will support formulation planning, polymer preparation, extrusion and injection moulding, followed by physical and performance characterisation. A key objective is to understand how processing affect material performance. The intern will also curate experimental datasets, perform statistical analysis, build visualisation tools and validate formulation-property trends using programming and AI knowledge. The role is suitable for students with backgrounds in materials science, aerospace engineering, chemical engineering or data analytics who are interested in sustainable manufacturing, applied research and innovation.
